Honey Grapefruit Greyhound Cocktail

I was in Ojai, California, for a honey daughters birthday last month. For a fun, signature dinner cocktail, we picked grapefruits from the trees, (oh, California you are divine) squeezed them and made fresh greyhounds. Yummy! So of course when I was packing up we sneaked a few into my suitcase for home.

At home making drinks, I found that my smuggled grapefruits were quite tart so I quickly made a little Hot Eric Honey syrup and blended it into the juice.

Wow, with or with out alcohol, I just created my beautiful, refreshing summer 23’ drink!

Ingredients and Directions:

  • 1/4c. Fresh grapefruit juice.
  • 2 teaspoons Hot Eric Honey dissolved into 2 Tbsps hot water.
  • Bubbly water, soda or tonic.
  • Vodka or not.
  • Ice.
  • Mixy, mixy and enjoy!
