Eric's Honey Pickled Eggs Recipe

Try this awesome Pickled Eggs recipe featuring Hot Eric Honey, original turmeric honey. I’m going to give mine a twirl in the fridge everyday. Perfect for a gorgeous charcuterie board, deviled eggs, egg salad or just sliced on toast with avocado and sprouts. Try it!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3c. Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Eric Honey- Original
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
  • 1 large shallot thinly sliced or 1/2 onion
  • 1 tablespoon whole peppercorn
  • 8 hard boiled eggs (I like 6 minute jammy eggs) peeled

Directions:

  • In a small saucepan warm the vinegar, honey, salt and turmeric until the honey dissolves.
  • Place the eggs, peppercorns and shallot in a glass quart jar. 
  • Pour the vinegar mixture over the eggs, secure the lid and give a few easy whirls to the jar to blend.
  • Refrigerate for 10 days or up to 2 weeks.
